The "MY96 Jetaway to Jamaica" contest is open to residents of Canada, within the broadcast area of MY96, eighteen (18) years of age or older, excluding those who are employees, or co-habitants of employees, agents or immediate family members of MY96 and The Jim Pattison Broadcasting Group or other media.
2) The decisions of the contest judges are final.
3) Starting January 9th when listeners hear their name announced on air they will have 10 minutes to call MY96 on-air control to be qualified for the weekly draw. If the winner does not call in we will announce another name.
4) On Fridays January 20th, 27th, February 3rd and 10th MY96 will draw one grand prize winner from all the eligible qualifiers that week. MY96 Reward Club members will be eligible to qualify for each weekly draw if their name is selected more than once.
5) Trip Package for two (2) includes:Seven-night prize trips to any Sandals resort in Jamaica (excluding Sandals Royal Plantation). Each trip includes return airline transportation to and from Montego Bay, return transfers from the airport to the resort; seven nights of luxurious accommodation; all meals including anytime snacks and unlimited beverages; nightly entertainment; all water and land sports; and all government hotel taxes and tips
6) The winner will be required to answer the following mathematical skill-testing question: Step 1) 109 x 11 = _______ Step 2) Take the answer from Step 1 ______ + 201 = ______ Step 3) Take the answer from Step 2 ______ divided by 7 = ______
7) Each trip is non-transferable nor redeemable for cash.
8) The contest winner and their guest are responsible for their own out of province/out of country health care insurance coverage.
9) MY96 is not responsible for inclement weather, illness, travel problems, flight delays or any other issues that may result in the winner and their guest not being able travel.
10) MY96 reserves the right to amend the contest rules at any time
11) MY96 may terminate the contest at any time
12) MY96 reserves the right to substitute any element of the grand prize with a comparable value replacement element.
13) By entering the contest, the entrant confirms that he/she has read and understood these contest rules and regulations, and that the prize winner agrees that they will sign a standard form releasing MY96 and The Jim Pattison Broadcast Group, Sandals Resorts, their agents and/or suppliers of service, and their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, directors, officers, employees, agents and their respective advertising and promotional agencies (collectively "Releasees"), from any and all liability arising in connection with this contest, including without limitation, liability arising from the acceptance of the Prize as awarded and confirming compliance with contest rules.
14) By entering the contest, each entrant, and particularly the prize winner consents to the use of his/her name, city of residence, photograph, voice and/or image for any publicity and programming purposes, commercial or otherwise, in all media used by MY96 and The Jim Pattison Broadcast Group, Sandals Resorts, and their respective advertising and promotional agencies, without any payment or compensation. Prizewinner agrees to sign a waiver and release to this effect and further agrees that his / her audio reaction may be used for on-air promotional purposes.
15) A processing fee of US$25.00 per couple per night will apply to each Sandals prize trip (i.e. 7 night trip = US$175.00). It is the addressee’s responsibility to disclose either verbally or in writing to the winner(s) that this processing fee applies. Payment by credit card will be required prior to travel.
16) Sandals Resorts reserves the right to relocate any processed prizewinner from their hotel of choice to an alternate resort within the chain or to alternate dates, based on availability of space.
17) The prize trips are subject to travel between (dates to be posted ASAP).
18) A gift certificate outlining the terms of the prize and redemption procedure for the prize trip will be provided at the conclusion of the promotion
19) Prize trips are based on space availability and confirmation of travel dates will only be provided 30 days prior to the departure date.
20) This contest is void where prohibited by law and is subject to all Federal, Provincial and Municipal laws and regulations of Canada and Alberta respectively.

These rules and regulations shall apply to all on-air contests (the "Contest") unless stipulated otherwise, and where alternate rules and regulations are made available to the public. If there are any discrepancies between these rules and regulations and any other rules and regulations posted for any particular Contest (the "Alternate Rules"), such discrepancy shall be resolved in favour of the Alternate Rules. Eligibility:
The Contest is open to legal residents of Canada who have reached the age of majority in the province in which they reside. No person who is employed by the JPBGLP or its affiliate companies, and no family member of such employee shall be entitled to enter the Contest. In certain cases, minors under the age of majority will be permitted to enter the Contest and be eligible to win the prize. In no case, however will a minor be declared a winner without the prior written consent and release of liability of the minor’s parent or legal guardian. How to Enter
There is no purchase necessary to enter the Contest. Upon hearing the cue-to-call, callers being the correct caller through (i.e. the 13th caller) will be asked to answer a trivia question or perform another task as described by the on-air host. If the caller correctly answers the question or performs the task, he will be declared a potential winner. If the caller fails to answer the question correctly or to perform the task, the next caller will be given the opportunity to answer or to compete the task. If no caller has correctly answered the question or completed the task, JPBGLP reserves the right to modify the contest to enable a potential winner to be determined or to carry the prize over to a subsequent time or contest.
