Everything You Need to Know About Kim Johnston

Hometown: Swift Current, Saskatchewan
Siblings: The third of four kids, one of three boys.
High School: SCCHS Grad '89

-I'm a dad of two busy boys, and a husband to my beautiful wife who keeps everything in line while I go "play radio" every day. 

-2011 marks my 20th year in radio, and in that time have entertained Country music & Top 40 audiences in Red Deer, Lethbridge, Swift Current, & Medicine Hat. 

-As you can clearly hear on the radio, I'm a compulsive news & tech junkie.  If I could only have one channel on TV, it better be CNN.  Likewise if I was stranded on a deserted island and could only have one possession... it better have lights, bells & make noise! 

-When not on the radio, you can usually find me playing with my boys on one Southridge's playgrounds or ball diamonds.  Or the three of us will be destroying newbs on X-Box 360!

-And you can also see me weekends at various local sports events, announcing Mavericks, Rattlers or Midget Tigers games
