My name is Mat. I’m 24 years old and have been working in the radio industry for 5 years. 

Unlike some, I knew radio was going to be my career path at a young age. I would go to
Toronto Maple Leafs games and would do the play by play of the warm up...it was meant to be. I went to Seneca College for Radio Broadcast after High School. 

I began interning at a station in Toronto after I graduated and worked on the morning show where I had a variety of responsibilities from winning eating contests to getting shot with a paintball cannon by Johnny Knoxville…I also sometimes did work assisting the morning show hosts.  

Some things about me – I speak fluently in French but can’t spell in English to save my life, I am a die hard Maple Leafs fan and always will be, but after going to a few games I am the Tigers newest DIE HARD FAN!!!  I play most sports including lacrosse, hockey and soccer, and I enjoy a cold beer more than Justin Bieber loves to annoy.

As a new resident of Medicine Hat, Alberta, I can say I love what I’ve seen of the city so far, and can’t wait to get to know you.
