Age: I'm in my twenties... Gotta keep you guessing a little bit

Hometown: Vernon, BC

A little about me: I grew up in the Okanagan Valley, doing OK types of things: like playing hockey, snowboarding and mountain biking. I also enjoy playing a little bit of "WHAP, DAMN-IT" or as you may know it. Golf. (I call it that because those are the sounds of my golf game... me hitting the ball, 'whap' then me yelling, 'DAMN IT'). And yes, I cheer on BC teams. The Canucks are my hockey team and The Lions are my football team and this is not up for debate!

I have the best job in the world. Since I was young, I have always loved music, from punk, to rap, to metal to rock, I've gone through all the stages. However, I never learned to play an instrument... Except for the Air Guitar, I'm the champ! Ha ha. No but really, I love music, and apparently like to talk, so, this career somewhat 'found' me. I've been really lucky over my life because I have got to see some of the raddest concerts of all time. Re-thinking that, I'm either really lucky or really dumb, because I must have spent a solid penny on all those concerts as well... But either way, they were all super fun.... I think.

I'm uber stoked to move here to Medicine Hat from Calgary where I worked on a radio station out there. I am living with my dog and my new room mate and just enjoying taking in all the new sights and sounds of this vibrant city!

I found a little "quiz" on the internet that may help you identify just what kind of a person I am.
Here it is:

What's your favorite song right now? Ooh, that's a toughy. I dig all types of music, so, this may seem a little scattered. But I am loving the new song from James Blunt - 1973, as well, Kenny Chesney - Never Wanted Nothin' More, and you can't go wrong with AC/DC anytime!

What are you most scared of? I'm scared of a lot of things, like, anything that is small and can fly. I hate wasps, mosquito's and black flies... Even if they can't fly, I'm a lil' freaked out, spiders... WATCH OUT! I'm also not a fan of heights and lentil soup, yikes! And human spontaneous combustion, that would be one nasty way to go, I wouldn't like that.

What's your favorite color? An easy one, my favorite colour has to be yellow or blue.

Favorite food? Everything. Well, except lentil soup. Ha ha. I eat a lot of pizza, sub sandwich's, and a good cheeseburger, mmmmmmmmHmmmmm! I'm also the master of Kraft Dinner, I once won a KD Cookoff Championship. I'm gonna toot my own horn here a bit, my KD is phenomenal! I'm talkin the best ya ever had!! And my "SuperGhetti" is outta this world!

Favorite animal? I love my dog, Scarlette. She's my favorite animal right now. Except when she craps in the house! ha ha. I also really like donkey's. I think it was because of Eeyore on Winnie the Pooh, he was the best character, and did things at his own sweet pace. Which is truthfully nothing like me, but hey, we gotta start giving these donkey's a break... constantly pinning tails to them... It's not FAIR! Cougars are cool too.

Favorite game? Kick the can. I have known to wake up a few neighbourhoods with a good ol' game of Kick the Can. I kind of enjoy golf, the first hole always sucks, but after a couple pops, my game usually picks up. As for board games... Monopoly has to take the cake. And Scattergories, that's good fun. Anything that challenges my extensive knowledge of pointless information is good for me!

Person you'd most like to meet? Will Ferrel, Willie Nelson, I would like the chance to say a couple words to George W. Bush.

Favorite TV show? I'm a huge crime drama fan... Law and Order , SVU & Criminal Intent, Numbers, all the CSI's, Without a Trace... I feel like I'd be able to pull off the perfect crime after watching countless hours of these shows. I also enjoy watching "Roasts" on the Comedy Network... William Shatner, awesome! Oh, there's another guy I'd like to meet! And no, I'm not a trekkie, not that there's anything wrong with that!

Favorite sport? Hockey. I like hockey. Hockey. Are we clear?! I am also a huge Mountain Biker, lacking the mountains slightly since I moved to the prairies, but I work it out. I also dig Bocce. Bocce anyone?

Favorite movies? Anything Will Ferrel, anything with guns and gore, and if its funny, I'm in. They need to make a movie crossed between Anchorman, Heat, and the Wedding crashers... That would be the perfect movie!

Favorite Place you've travelled to? That would have to be the Dominican Republic... Or Mexico, uno cervesa pour favor.

I'm really happy to be part of MY 96 and a new member of the community here in Medicine Hat, and look forward to meeting each and every listener at some point over the coming months! Thanks for listening.
